Bookmanager .boo file format

I searched through lots of Usenet posts on this, but most of what I saw was over 5 years old.
Google searches have not been successful.

Has IBM made the internal format of *.boo (Bookmanager) files available? I have a bunch of
old Bookmanager files and after more than a decade of different versions of the reader, can
no longer tolerate using the program. I'd like to write a little program to convert the files
from Bookmanager to something more friendly.

I've never heard of a program to do this, or seen anything about the
file format. There are undoubtedly some conversion houses that will
do the job for you -- at a price :-)
