Hi!

Is it possible to create tables where column width
will be set automatically based on the entries.
Now I get a table with equal width for every column.

I use openjade to convert sgml to tex.

regards

I use openjade, DSSSL stylesheets and jadetex.
Anyone knows about a stylesheet that can produce

Hi!

Based on what property of the entries? Number of characters? Number of
words? Number of newline? Length of digit strings? All these are possible,
with some programming effort.

But HTML is the only table model which was designed to do this (Netscape).
All the others are designed to be told the widths, or to deal only with
very short entries.
